HoloKitty Privacy Policy

HoloKitty ("we") is a voice-first story game at holokitty.app. This policy explains what we collect and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account information: an anonymous player ID; if you sign in with Google, your name, email, and profile picture.
- Voice and game content: your voice while you play, transcripts and game events, and game audio recordings (on by default; you can turn this off in Settings).
- Log and usage data: a hashed version of your IP address (used only for play limits), pages visited, features used, and timestamps.
- Device information: browser and device type.
- Cookies and analytics: to keep you signed in, remember your settings, and understand how the game is used.
How we use it
To run the game, remember your settings, keep play limits fair, fix problems, and improve the game and its characters, and, if you ask us to, to email you when new stories launch.
If you sign up for updates, we keep your email address only to tell you about new stories. Email support@holokitty.app to be removed.
Why we process it
To provide the game you asked for, with your consent where needed (for example, audio recording), and for our legitimate interest in improving and securing HoloKitty.
Share links
Dare and highlight links are public pages that anyone with the link can see. Highlights may include things you said.
Sharing
We don't sell your data. We use service providers for AI, voice connections, hosting, storage, analytics, error monitoring, and Google sign-in, and they may only use your data to provide their service to us. Our AI provider may not use your data to train its models. We may disclose information if required by law.
Retention
We keep data only as long as needed to run and improve the game, or as required by law.
Your rights
Email support@holokitty.app to access or delete your data, including past recordings. We'll reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights, and we'll help with those too.
Age
HoloKitty is for people 18 and older. If someone under 18 has used it, contact us and we'll delete their data.
Changes
We'll update the date above when this policy changes.
